The Hospitality Automation Summit (HOSAS) was conceived as a pioneering initiative to bridge the gap between hoteliers and technology providers. Our mission is to ensure that every hospitality business—from boutique and business to internationally recognized hotel brands—has access to the right technology to enhance guest experiences, improve operational efficiency, and drive profitability.
Founded by Benny Wee, the visionary behind Vendfun, and Dr. Sri Ganesh Michiel, President of the Malaysia Budget & Business Hotel Association (MyBHA®), representing budget, business, and mid-scale hotels nationwide. HOSAS is a must-attend event that educates, inspires, and connects key industry stakeholders. With hospitality technology evolving rapidly, many hoteliers struggle to identify the right tech solutions that align with their property size, budget, and guest expectations.
HOSAS was designed to solve this challenge by bringing together world-class hospitality tech providers, industry experts, and decision-makers in a collaborative environment that fosters knowledge-sharing, partnerships, and business growth.
The association was formed in 2001 under the initiative of YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Panglima Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir who was the past Minister of Culture, Arts and Tourism then with its objective to represent the common interests of all budget hotels in Malaysia particularly for the two star rated hotels and below.
In year 2019, the Association has changed its name to Malaysia Budget & Business Hotel Association (MyBHA) with its objective to represent as well as dignifying the common interests of the budget & business hotels Industry in Malaysia particularly for the three star rated hotels and below.
The Association is now responsible in representing and assisting licensed and registered budget & business hotels in Malaysia towards bringing and / or escalating all issues faced by our members to the responsible and relevant parties and/or agencies in enhancing the image of the budget & business hotel industry under three stars in particular and the tourism industry in general.

The Malaysia Proptech Association (MPA), founded in 2017 by Dato' Sri Gavin Tee, mission is to encourage the growth of Proptech within the industry players and to support a new generation of technopreneurs (technology entrepreneurs) in Malaysia.
MPA is aimed at furthering the interest of all Proptech entrepreneurs while educating the public on how Proptech can benefit them, reach out to all stakeholders in real estate, and contribute to the betterment of the property market towards efficient digitalisation and high governance.
